Wirral Singers

The Wirral Singers choir, formed from old girls of the school way back in 1952, by the then head of music, Doris Parkinson, is still going strong 72 years later.  Although these days most of our members are drawn from further afield, about a third of our members are old girls and keep the traditions alive that “Parky” set all those years ago.  Gill Brady is now the choral director, and our accompanist is Rose Mac Pherson, both of whom are old girls of the school.

We have an exciting summer coming up.  We have been asked to sing for the induction of the new Mayor of Wirral in May and we have a concert coming up in June at Christ Church, Higher Bebington. Details of these and other events can all be found on our blog www.wirralsingers.co.uk

Even more exciting news to come, but it’s top secret at the moment! Keep in touch to find out what may be happening.
