About the Wirral Admissions Test
The Wirral Admissions Test is designed to assess whether grammar school is a suitable option for
you. The questions in the test are designed to see how you use different types of reasoning skills
and to test your ability in maths. The test is in two separate booklets, each one covering verbal and
non-verbal reasoning skills, as well as mathematics. Both tests are timed and consist of multiple choice questions.

FAMILIARISATION SESSION

We are pleased to announce that we will be offering an 11+ Familiarisation session
at Wirral Grammar School for Girls on Saturday 13th June 2026.

The purpose of the session is to allow girls in Year 5 to familiarise themselves with
the format of the assessment, how to complete the answer sheets and the style of
questions that could be used on an 11+ paper. The session will last one hour, it will
be taught by our Senior Leadership team and will be completely free of charge.

There will be two sessions running, one starting at 9:30am and the second starting at
11.00am. Places will be limited, if you would like to apply for a place please complete
