Enrichment Qualifications

  • Extended Project Qualification: on a subject that interests them.
  • Core Maths: to develop problem-solving skills and learn about real life maths which includes financial topics involving taxes, mortgages, loans and savings.
  • English Speaking Board: an excellent enrichment option to enhance social speaking skills including delivering a presentation, sharing a recommendation of a piece of literature and performing a section of it, leading and partaking in discussion and answering questions and commenting.
  • Sports/Dance Leaders: gain skills and qualities to successfully lead your peers and others in the community.
  • First Aid at Work: Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) which is specially designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. 
  • Mentoring Practice: To develop your mentoring skills and apply this to mentoring a younger student.

  • Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award: a very desirable Award as it shows great dedication, independence and drive to succeed.  This can help to build their confidence, resilience, skills for work and friendships for life.  
  • Rotary Interact: work with the local Rotary Club to fundraise and advocate for local and international charities.
  • Reading Mentors: support younger students to develop their reading and literacy
