Wirral Grammar School for Girls was formed in 1931 and we are proud of having provided outstanding education for girls for 95 years – and we have marked this with a celebration – please enjoy and share this page which shows some of the great ways that we were able to share as a community!
For one lovely June day we went out on the field and partied with a parade and an amazing poem by Huda Abdulmajed from Year 9
It was a lovely June Day and we started with a parade – each form made banners celebrating 95 years of our amazing school and we were led out onto the field by the samba band.
Then we had stalls, games, and entertainment – a lovely community experience to allow us as a school, adults and students, to celebrate this great occasion!
Huda, in Year 9, recited a poem she had written to start off the day – you can hear her read it on the video clip or follow this link to read the text – well done Huda!

No party would be complete without a picure of all those present – have a look at this amazing dron photo showing all the students, staff and building against the backdrop of Wirral and Liverpool.
