Congratulations Year 11!

Today students at Wirral Grammar School for Girls are celebrating an incredible set of results in their GCSE examinations.

19% of all grades achieved were the very top grade of 9, while 42% of all results were graded 9–8. An impressive 11 students achieved grade 8 or above in all of their examinations. 63% of all entries were graded 7-9.   

Headteacher, Jenny Ogunmyiwa, said  ‘We are immensely proud of our students for delivering such an exceptional performance in their GCSEs. These results are a testament to their hard work, resilience, and the unwavering commitment of our teaching staff. These results will allow our Year 11 students to continue their educational journey, giving them the ultimate foundation for A-Levels and their next steps. We are delighted to support them and students who are new to the school as they continue their journey with us in sixth form.
